Coming to the end of second year. For the first time, this project was entirely self-directed with the prefix that this is getting us ready for our Final Major Project. One part of the whole University process I felt that I didn't utilise properly was making a project about my hometown. In Langholm, we have a traditional event called 'Common Riding' which long story short, includes men riding on horses around the town to "mark the boundaries", a man climbs on top of the horse and cries the fair, which leads to 'The cornets chase', the elected man commonly known as the cornet leads the race to try and catch up to him.
